Jury
The Jury selected to choose the winning photograph had already met and chosen 5 finalists, on Friday the 27th of January they convened once more and chose the ultimate winner and recipient of a Free Stay at Palheiro Estate.

How were the photos judged?
The photos that were chosen as finalists were done so based on the following criteria:
Artistic presentation - Technique - Relationship to the Palheiro Estate and the overall WOW factor.
What happened during the competition and why were the rules changed?
Amazingly, our website began to receive hundreds of visits to the photo gallery each day and it became quite obvious that someone was accessing the site with an automated script in an effort to 'vote up' certain photos and at the same time 'vote down' others.
Our web technicians were able to trace the culprit and restrict access to the site.
So we were left with no other option than to change the competition rules and elect a Jury that would have the final say.
